Actually, this thread just reminded me about the 2.open_close patch in the pd-msg docs. In it, its got [; pd open abstraction.pd .( and [; pd pd-abstraction.pd menuclose( but neither work. I was able to get [;pd open abstraction.pd .( to work in one patch, but then I couldn't reproduce it.
Does anyone know how this works?

A variable to make names local to a patch/abstraction.
if you save the master patch while the abstractions are open, they
should reopen when you next load it..i think..

doesnt work... anyway if have several instances of one abstraction it saves just one
window-position. (i.e corner-upperleft of your screen.)cheers miyazaki s
by the way does somebody know the exact meaning of these koordinates?
The canvas coordinates are:
Xlocation Ylocation Xsize Ysize
Can I specify at which position the window (patch/abstraction is
gonna open)?Probably with toxy.
