What do you mean by this "bangs have to happen in between sample blocks"? The bangs from metro AFAIK happen independent from the sample blocks.
in order to make this discussion more confusing, i say: afaik, it depends which object receives the bang from the [metro]. when it is [vline~] or [vsnapshot~], then it is independent from sample blocks, but when the receiver is the phase inlet of an oscillator or [tabwrite~], then the bang happens on the boundaries. personally, i find that a bit confusing and i would like all these objects to behave the same, namely independent from sample blocks.
