One thing I noticed from your code is that it looks like you're only computing one sample in your perform function. I think you should be looping through every sample in the block. That's what you pass "n" or whatever the value is to the function.

THanks to Thomas Grill for the tip. It compiles beautifully now, but now I get crashes when I check the compute audio box. I dont think I have my perform function set up correctly (among other things). I know this isint a programming list but you have already been so helpful and patient with this newbie...
