It's rounded to the nearest integer number of audio samples (resolution 0.22 usec at 44.1kHz).
The "vd~" object has much greater resolution, but has to interpolate so doesn't have a flat frequency response as delread~ does.

Is the fractional part of the delay time simply truncated or is it rounded to the next integer?
And another one: I would love to have a (noninterpolating) delay that accepts delay times in samples instead of ms. Does something like that exist?
thanks
