That's a feature of Tk/Cocoa. Pd-extended won't be based off of Tk/Cocoa until next release. Sorry.

I think it is very clear, anyway, for instance; first I click on 'File', then go down in the 'File' menu with down key or go rigth to 'Edit' or 'Put' menu with right arrow key etc.
