2010/7/29 Hans-Christoph Steiner hans@at.or.at You do not need anything from Tcl/Tk build or run Pd 0.43 in -nogui mode. The GUI is still written in Tcl/Tk and pd --> pd-gui communication is still in the form of Tcl commands.
Hans, is there a way to catch all Tcl commands send from pd to pd-gui?
If you look at the C code for all sys_gui() and sys_vgui() calls,
those are the Tcl commands. In 0.43 it should be pretty easy to
receive those on the Tcl side, check out the tcl/pd_connect.tcl file.
Another question... the PD startup order [1] continues the same at
0.43?Thanks.
There has probably been some changes, but overall it'll be the same.
The startup process in 0.43 is still a topic of discussion.
