It means that pd can't create pyext object. When I tried to open
simple-1.pd this is the message I get: ImportError: No module named simple pyext simple ex1 .... couldn't createand object pyext is with dashed lines.... When I open buffer-1.pd the py object is created but then I get this: ImportError: No module named buffer
That means that the respective py scripts can't be found. When you point the pd path to the folder where the scripts are, it will work. You can alternatively copy the scripts into the folder where the example patches reside.
