hi,
i'm running gem with an ati card on linux. i'm using the driver from ati.com: http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html
if you want, i can test your patch with my system?
also, i can't use xv output in pdp with dual head setup... only glx or sdl.
patrick

hello,
thanks, create :0.1 works fine.
in order to test this configuration, i run a patch using 80% cpu. after 5 min my system completly freeze : nothings move exept my mouse. no sound. the only thing I was able to do is to connect to my computer with sssh from another computer : XFree86 was using 99% cpu. a reboot command does have no effect, I had to press the power buttton.
for me, it looks like a problem with the ATI drivers (?) how does peoples uses ATI card under linux (wich driver)?
thanks cyrille
