halos.
i recently packed opencvs object/face detection routine into a freeframe-plugin which was quite straight forward. it is available as .dll + sources from: http://vvvv.org/tiki-index.php?page=FreeFrameDetectObject
beware that it will not work with any freeframe host, but the host needs some extensions for being able to understand plugins with outputs. for more info see here: http://vvvv.org/tiki-index.php?page=HowTo+FreeFramePlugins
or you download opencv which also comes with a simple facedetect demo program: http://sourceforge.net/projects/opencvlibrary
good luck. joreg.

I don't think that there is any. You could make one :)
As a starting point, try this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eigenface
