It seems that pix_2pdp will only allow RGB-input as of now? and when i try to use gem2pdp i get a system crash.
...attached is a slight modification that I recently stumbled on, and have found makes the bridging alot more usable (maybe it was supposed to be used like this in the first place but I was too dense to see?)...I think the help-pix_2pdp.pd patch is a little misleading, in that it doesn't seem as though people would want to simultaneously process the same image thru gem's pix'es and pdp's packet's...so, I just have the gemstate ([pix_2pdp]'s left outlet) passed directly to [pdp2gem]'s inlet (and remove the extra gemhead attached to it in the current help patch), while the right outlet of [pix_2pdp] connects to whatever pdp/pidip objects you'd like (note: I didn't change/insert anything in that part of the patch), eventually joining up again with [pdp2gem]...
...does this help?
