Nice, glad it works. Even better than a rom emulator: write your own
game, like Marius' tetris. =D

Hi all, hc,
Switching autoconf 1.10 for 1.9 and getting zexyconf.h did the
trick, the install went well after that.My Nintendo NES controller (+RetroPad) works with hidio, now I need
a rom emulator in pd ;-).Cheers,

Well the easiest way to build [hid] would be to do this:
cd externals make hid
Otherwise, I think zexyconf.h is in CVS, and zexy won't build properly after a "make clean", so try a "cvs up" to get zexyconf.h back. Beyond that I don't really know since IOhannes replaced my Pd- extended build stuff for zexy with his own.

Hello all, Hans-Christoph,
I was trying to compile pd-extended on kubuntu/feisty from the cvs today and stumbled on a few problems :
cd /home/alx/pd/pure-data/externals/iem16/src && autoconf configure.ac:40: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_CHECK_CFLAGS If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow. See the Autoconf documentation. configure.ac:156: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_CHECK_LDFLAGS
It worked after downgrading automake to 1.9 from 1.10...but now I'm stuck here :
/home/alx/pd/pure-data/externals/build/src/../../zexy/src/zexy.h: 47:23: error: zexyconf.h: No such file or directory make[2]: *** [/home/alx/pd/pure-data/externals/build/src/ any2list.o] Error 1
I'm doing this to try [hid] or [hidio] since I just got the usb retropad for the nes. I hope NIME is a lot of fun.
Cheers,
Alexandre

If nature has made any one thing less susceptible than all others of
exclusive property, it is the action of the thinking power called an
idea, which an individual may exclusively possess as long as he keeps
it to himself; but the moment it is divulged, it forces itself into
the possession of everyone, and the receiver cannot dispossess
himself of it. - Thomas Jefferson
