A few easy steps:
- Start pd -noaudio on one computer
- Start pd -nogui on the other computer
- Use OSC or netsend/netreceive to communicate between the two
Have a look at some of Frank B's RRADical patches [or the help patches for netsend/netreceive and OSC] to see how this can be done. Essentially, every GUI object communicates via OSC with its "target", so seperating the interface from the sound or graphics processing is easy.

hi list, can someone please suggest which objects i should be looking at to do the following. i would like to have one computer with a pd/gem patch that is actually being executed/rendered on another machine. is that possible?
