hey,
also: where did you get the source from?
it seems pd-ndi is an extension to Gem and not bundled into the repository at https://git.iem.at/pd/Gem
at least not in the master branch. are you intending to use ndi at all?
cheers,

Kosmas,
just a quick reply: Which operating system are you on? Any reason you can't install Gem via the "Find externals..." function? If you are on Linux (Debian-based) try using the apt package installer to install Gem?

Hi list,
I installed the Gem library from source and everything seemed to compiled correctly. When I open pd, I get the message:
[GEM:recordNDI] Please (re)install the NewTek NDI Runtimes to use this plugin. need to find the library 'libndi.so.4'
This library appears to be at
/snap/obs-studio/1185/usr/local/lib/libndi.so /snap/obs-studio/1185/usr/local/lib/libndi.so.4 /snap/obs-studio/1185/usr/local/lib/libndi.so.4.5.3 /snap/obs-studio/1195/usr/local/lib/libndi.so /snap/obs-studio/1195/usr/local/lib/libndi.so.4 /snap/obs-studio/1195/usr/local/lib/libndi.so.4.5.3
I guess Gem cannot find it there... Any suggestions?
