No, I think you cannot. You might be able to trust the metro itself, but the bangs it sends will be bound to the 64 sample block border, that limits max message speed, and this is about 1.4 milliseconds at 44.1 kHz. For precise things below that you probably want to take a look at the t3-lib in iemlib.
