I thought it was going to be an undertaking, but it was actually quite easy, took like 2-3 hours, thanks to copious use of regexps. Makes me wish I had done it a long time ago. I haven't tested them all yet, let's hope there aren't any glitches. I just had a successful compile on MacOS X, that leaves Windows to test.
Just doing my bit...

You really are the bravest of them all. I think this work is invaluable for the pd community, and above all for the users. And it will save me lots of headaches when I have to give my next workshop. If someone asks me "can I stream audio with pd ?", I can just plainly say yes, instead of giving instructions how and where to download which library, setup .pdrc or write windows .bat files ...

I imported the IEMlib into the CVS and was able to incorporate all of its non-conflicting objects into the pd-externals build system without modifying the IEMlib sources at all. So now all of the IEMlib objects, including [mp3play~] and the t3 objects, will be incorporated in the packages as individual objects.
This makes me happy, no more conflicts!
