I have a version of this that is almost ready for release (I'm just dealing with vsti parameter/sysex weirdness.) I'm pretty bogged down with my classes right now, but this quarter ends next week, so I'll probably release it the week after.

pdvst: i'm a quite intensive user of pdvst, the tool developed by joseph sarlo. Maybe jsarlo would develop a pdVSTi version if enough people are
interested.
For me it would open a wide range of possibilities.
