I can check that monday within college, but there's a group of researchers there that I believe that use wiimote plus within their C++ apps, meaning it should be really givin an improved reading.
I'll check with them monday If I can, but probably more info on otheres of the list,
Best regards, Pedro p.s.: Arduino people are using it and talking about improvments in foruns ( http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1245723011, http://randomhacksofboredom.blogspot.com/2009/06/wii-motion-plus-arduino-lov...) so I guess your good to go.

Hey, nice thread, I just want to know if the Wii Motion Plus improves the sensing of the wiimote using it directly from pd, or if it just does it with the wii console.
Thanks.

All that has been said is true but I have used this combination of

Yeah, this is probably the problem. For some reason GUI objects seem to
eat
up a large amount of CPU usage. Once you've asserted just what input
you're
getting (Wiimote tends to come between 0 and 1) remove any number boxes, sliders, etc which are displaying your wiimote input. If you need this
then
you could display the data through GEM, which for some reason uses less processing power Andrew
