Of course. All I meant was that answers to newbie questions are usually quite useful to other newbies, no matter what language. And yes, someone has to maintain it.

for people starting with pd it would help, it is easier to ask the first questions in the language you talk best, a lot of the vocabulary is very specific. other languages also have their own forums and people are very productive! of course there is not so much traffic as on the english mailing list, but a lot of people feel "at home". but then, someone has to maintain the list/forum... marius.
