hi thomas, list,
i am not at all pro in recompiling but i'll try to. i edited the config-pd-darwin.txt so it looks like this:
-- # where are the PD header files? # leave it blank if it is a system directory (like /usr/local/include), # since gcc 3.2 complains about it PDPATH=/Applications/Pd-0.38.app/Contents/Resources/src
# where is the PD executable? PD=/Applications/Pd-0.38.app/Contents/Resources/bin/pd
# where do the flext libraries reside? FLEXTPATH=/Applications/Pd-0.38.app/Contents/Resources/extra/flext
# where should flext libraries be built? TARGDIR=./pd-darwin
# where should pool be installed? # (leave blank to omit installation) INSTPATH=/Applications/Pd-0.38.app/Contents/Resources/extra
# additional compiler flags # (check if they match your system!) UFLAGS=-malign-power -maltivec -faltivec
# use shared flext library
then in the terminal it gives me this:
McLaren:~/Desktop/pool.1 max$ make make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
what's my problem here?
thanks, max

Hi Max,
turns out that it's crashing because of [pool]. is there a cure for this?
i have had reports of crashing [pool]s already but i was unable to reproduce them. I'll upload a binary version to my website shortly. It would be great if you could try to recompile it yourself and report back if it succeeded.
best greetings, Thomas
