To clarify, I did say programs "like Pd" :-)
The positions right now are for the San Francisco studio. My project (The Lord of the Rings: The White Council) is doing things which fit the Pd model. Spore is also doing many things like this as well.

I once taught a PD workshop to a group of 100 students in a tech college. One asked me "How is PD used in the industry?"
I guess that's how. ;)
Somehow I think PD is a little outside "industry" when does selling
the
opportunity to see/hear/feel/touch something creative become an "industry"?
Does EA in Vancouver have any interest in PD?
.b.

Hi,
Sorry for the spam, but I always want to try and help out the PD community...
Electronic Arts (the video game company) is looking for a sound programmer who knows Pd and a sound designer who knows Pd (or
programs
like Pd). Both positions are in the San Francisco Bay area. EA
does do
relocation.
If you are interested, please contact me privately.
Thanks, Mark Danks Director of Technology Electronic Arts
