Scrolllist will make PD crash if it is inside a "graph on parent subpatch" (I only checked on XP). I also made scrollist crash by sending an seek message to an empty scrollist.

Thanks for scrollist, it works great (even on XP). I do have a suggestion thought: If the width of the added text is larger than the scrollist window width, a weird offset occurs. I think clipping the text would be better. Attached is an image of the behavior.
How is the adaptation of Playslist going Piotr?

BTW: there is a little bug in scrolllist: clear the list and seek for a line!=0 -> pd/scrolllist crashes. Maybe it's just a if(out_of_lines_loaded) missing...
ok, fixed, but only for linux, i searched in all the house, we only have linux machines here : http://ydegoyon.free.fr/scrolllist.tar.gz
I wanted to update scrolllist for Windows and send it back to, but fixing the bug you must have removed all my changes which were required to compile on Windows. And, you cleaned the makefile - it's windows-free again :-(
I adapted the new version to Windows again, and put it at: http://iem.at/~majdak/download/pd/
It would be nice if you could use _this_ version for further updates. Note that the current target is pd_nt in the Makefile.
In the meantime I'll give playlist a try.
