Hi Miller,
when I start Pd with -noprefs option, I have the same result: Pd's console window is rendered correctly but all other windows (including Settings and Browser) are fully transparent. Enabling 'Transparency Reduction' in Accessibility Settings doesn't help.
kind regards

Hi again -
I managed to get remote access to a MACOS 11 machine -- it identifies itself as "Version 11.0 Beta (20A4300b)" - and I'm seeing Pd windows rendered the same way I'm used to on a Mac.
I notice on your screenshot you have loads of stuff added on - can you try it with all your preferences forgotten?
thanks Miller

Hi Antoine -
Can you see if 0.51-0 works any better on it? I'm trying to avoid
buying a
new Mac as long as I can but if we get to the point that I can't make
builds
that run on the newest MACOS I'll be forced to.
thanks Miller

Hi all,
I just tried Pd 0.50-2 on my automatically updated mac under macos
11.0 big
sur. And it doesn't work. Pd console open fine but then a new patcher looks like a transparent rectangle :

There is no warning nor error on the terminal or in Pd's console. I tried the binary downloaded from puredata.info and also built it
myself
without more success.
Has anyone already updated to Bigsur and successfully run Pd ?
Cheers
