Can you maybe send or upload a little screenshot somewhere? It works here with pd-0.39-2 and actually is it a really simple patch, I wonder what could go wrong here.
Attached is a new version, which doesn't try to fix and bugs, but adds a some new features: Now only changes are output through the outlet, the metro was made faster (50) and now defaults to be on.
This is really cool, Frank, and that other bug is gone - perhaps it was my cutting/pasting from mutt. The .tgz version works very well. I hope you don't mind if I steal some bits out of this to go into my own 2d control surface. The only reason is to make the look match all of my own s-abstractions with their orange/grey theme.
