i forgot to say: the error appears while i try to install Pd, not when it runs... Well, when it runs, it also appears. So, I uninstalled it and, when I try to install, i get this problem.

Most likely this is just Pd opening a socket which it needs for internal communication (and which some virus detectors complain about)... you just have to tell teh virus detector that Pd's OK (as far as we know...)

Wow, that's kind of funny. Watch out, Pd is infectous! ;) And Pd- extended is actually part of my secret plan to bring down all Windows boxes! mu ha ha ha ha!
I doubt many virus/trojan coders have heard of Pd. I wonder if a Pd virus would be possible. Which file is it complaining about?

hello list,
when I try to install pd-extended, running the file Pd-0.38.4- extended.exe, my antivirus (avast) detects some Trojan horses in the files being installed. Has anybody experimented this problem?
