Nice, I like the pitch tracker control! Two comments:
- it would be useful to start the pitch tracking with some
sensible defaults, rather than 0. Then people could adjust accordingly.
For the filter or the tessitura?
- pitch tracking is quite jittery, so I think some
filtering will really help the game play. Check out the mapping library. I think you could do something like an weighted average of the past few values, or perhaps just a [median_n 3]. Another fancier alternative is to use some of the 'pm' physical modelling filters.
Yeah, the pitch tracking isn't so usable yet. But it's fun excuse to yell at the screen!
