Thomas,
I just got the latest version of Flext (not CVS, but from your site), and this problem also occurs in Pd .37-4 as well as the latest .38t7.
I originally had two versions of Pool that I was trying, an old 0.2.0pre that I got from you a while ago, and the new 0.2.0. The new one was crashing while the old one was stable.
In my confusion I accidentally recompiled the 0.2.0pre and now it crashes as well. Which leads me to believe that the problem is elsewhere than the Pool code, but I can't really figure out what the problem might be.
I've tried using the headers of Pd .37-4 as well as .38t7 when compiling and both of them crash without fail.
I'm on RH9 with planet a CCRMA kernel, btw.
Anything else you suggest I should try?

Hi David, thanks for your report but i can't reproduce the bug... everything's stable here. Do you also use a current version of flext? Which pd version do you use? Are there other users experiencing comparable problems?
best greetings, Thomas

Thomas / all,
I've got the latest CVS version of [pool] and it segfaults on me every time when I try "mksub" and "mkchsub", and frequently when I try to "save" or "savex", but I haven't been able to figure out when exactly that happens. It may do this for other commands too, but I haven't checked them all out.
I'd be happy to give you debug info if you tell me what you'd like. At the moment Pd just exits with:
pd_gui: pd process exited Segmentation fault
