Hello Iohannes, hello list, i try to load a .svg from : http://www.croczilla.com/svg/samples/butterfly/butterfly.svg and import it with [pix_image], i get : error: GemImageLoad: Unable to import an image: butterfly.svg
[pix_image] loads only TIFF, JPEG and PNG ? No ?
GEM: ver: 0.91.1 'tigital' Pd version 0.40.3-extended-20080722 PowerBook G4. MacOSX.4.11
oh, you are on OSX. on osx QuickTime is used for ImageLoading; on linux (optionally) ImageMagick is used. obviously only the latter can load SVGs.
I don't see an extension for quicktime to read .svg. Maybe someone ?
Any idea about this error ?
it means that the given file cannot be loaded as an image :-)
Yes, of course ! :D ++

i don't know how portable libsugar would be. it might as well not solve your problems on OSX.
