Using QT movies in GEM you can send a 'ram' message to pix_film and it will load the movie into RAM. Note that the whole playback process stops until the entire movie is loaded. This might take anywhere from a second or two to a full minute.

e.g.: message: "RAM"+ "space" + "path" to pix_film...
..and,works only with quicktime-movies?
