there is already an example included in pd:
Menu -> Help -> Browser -> 3.audio.examples -> I07.phase.vocoder.pd
in order to test it:
a) you need to load a sample first: click on the [../sound/voice.wav( message-box
b) turn up the volume: set the numberbox in [output~] to '100'
c) play a sound: click on one the message-boxes labelled with 'contract', ,normal' and 'expand'. now you should hear the effect.

hi again folks,
many thanks for the help offered in my last request concerning the bonk object. so maybe this time I will make a complete fool of myself, but is it possible to time-strech .wav files with pd (meaning changing the length but not the pitch of sample? knowing that it works in applications like live, I feel that this can`t be a simple operation;). but maybe there are some abstractions already contained in pd dealing with this issue ? interested to hear your respondings... with best regards,
