Most probably you have to add the iemmatrix folder to your path. .

We have installed the only version available for linux in deken and even if we put it in the search path and initialize in the startup, patches with mtx_*~ don't initialize the objet. We have also tried with declare -lib.
But... when we try to create the object (i.e., not loading a patch containing it), it instantiates as expected.
Do you have any clues?
This behaviour happens on ubuntu with vanilla versions 0.48.1 and 0.49.0.
