I can't help you with tags, but I can tell you that shortly, within a couple days, I will be releasing a new MacOS X installer for Pure Data plus lots of stuff from the SourceForge CVS. This installer is based on pd 0.37, which greatly simplifies audio and midi device selection, especially on MacOS X.

hi i've run into a few problems getting pd to work on my lecturers G4 laptop. i'm used to running linux so i don't know where to start. i'd like to convert him from MAX but these such issues are not very convincing. i can get pd installed and running audio through the core audio but i can't seem to get sound running into/out of his Metric Halo Mobile i/o. we tried all sorts of things and this is all we got. i think error -9999 has something to do with it but i don't quite know where to start. can someone suggest a method or series of flags that may work. thanks crew. tom
