PIKSEL24. Geo-v(oid)(0)latility(∞)politics The 22nd edition of the Piksel Festival for Electronic Art and Free Technologies November 21-24 2024 Bergen(NO)
Welcome to the 22nd Edition of PIKSEL FESTIVAL! Piksel is an annual festival for artists and developers working with free/open source software, hardware and art in Bergen, Norway.
Dear friends, we would like to invite you to join us for the new edition of Piksel in Bergen.
Piksel festival has selected more than sixty artists presenting projects, workshops, and live concerts. Themes ranging from video games and poetry, artificial intelligence warfare, privacy and the deep net, society defense strategies, and the ethical and environmental impact of technology.
Geo-v(oid)(0)latility(∞)politics will address how the ups and downs of politics, both here and around the world, can leave us feeling like we’re on the edge of a void—a place where constant changes and unpredictable decisions chip away at our trust, our solidarity, and our hopes for lasting progress. When political agendas shift so often, it’s easy to lose sight of the solutions we desperately need. Issues like climate change, social equality, and cultural preservation get left hanging, caught in a limbo of uncertainty.
