Hi all,
I'm using the OS X port of GEM (0.888-pre1) on an iBook. When I create a window I get the output:
MAC: BuildGLonWindow: fDraggable= false MAC: BuildGLonWindow: not draggable on single device MAC: BuildGLonWindow (!pcontextInfo->fDraggable && (numDevices == 1))
the created window is - as the output suggests - not draggable, not focusable and - what's worse - mouse events are not passed to it, effictively making the use of gemmouse impossible.
what is the reason for this and is there a workaround to use gemmouse after all? What devices is BuildGLonWindow talking about - gfxcards, monitors,...?
...there's probably a very simple answer for this ;-)
of GEM (I think 0.888rc2 is most current)...this has a huge number of fixes, especially to the window handling on 10.3+: btw, what version of osx are you using?
If so, this is the bottleneck: OSX requires certain things to be present in an app before it hands over access to the window manager...so, atm you can use either the pd++.app at my website (which I desperately need to update to 0.37-1), or you can try one of the other application bundles that are floating around (I'm thinking uPDated)...
good luck, jamie
