No, pd will look at your path for any external name you type in the box. Percolate is a library so make sure you have a -lib percolate in your .pdrc or command line. When you start pd does it try and load percolate and give you an error in the terminal window?

WOW, pretty amazing when things work. I get all the librarys, Zexy, Xsample, bonk, fiddle, and so forth to load. The only one that still doesnt work is percolate. It is looking in the right directory, but it sais it failed.
If i want to use certain objects in my extras directory, do i have to type them all in by hand? Thanks for all the help- AP
