so that means there is nothing to substitute for the cd.dll (which is needed to compile on win) when compiling for os x?
is there any manual on the structure needed for compiling c- programming on osx? both the german and also the manual from pd´s browser do not tell about os x specifications.
how to link against pd on osx ishas undergone several changes (at least: one big change) , additionally depending on the pd-version used. (since pd has to be compiled in a "special" way in order to enable certain linking)
the best documentation you will find is by looking at existing osX-enabled externals and how they are built. this is the (high? low??) price you often have to pay when getting involved in opensource development.
just as an example: iemmatrix is really plain C (no external libraries), it comes with autoconf; just run configure and inspect the generated Makefile to see which flags are used there and adopt your own build-system accordingly
