this is a problem, i mentioned earlier on this list but i think there is no solution yet. if you have files which contain additional data (copyright, comments, etc.) this information is not filtered/bypassed correctly. try to save the wavefiles without that information (for example if you use soundforge (win), or a similar wave editor). marius.

I've trying to play audio files (*.wav) and i can't get rid of an audible audio click at the end of the file (althoug the file doesn't have that click). I'm using the tabplay~ example and i always hear an annoying click.
Hi, maybe the sound you used has some DC offset (or very low
frequencies)?!
If you stop playing the signal is jumping from this DC value back to 0 resulting in a click. Try fading out (see the line~ object). Sorry, haven't got the time for patch.
