Hi,
I'm using the pd-firmware and pd-patch from pd cvs (updated today) on an arduino with 5 IR sensors (sharp sensors)attached and I have a strange problem: analog1 and analog2 work fine but analog3 and anlog4 always give random values, if the value of analog0 is > than 0 then its value is +- copied to analog3 and analog4.
The sensors are ok (tested with the multIO).
I have 2 arduino and I have the same problem on both so I'd exclude a board damage.
I think it is the firmware but I hadn't time to debug it yet.
i'm on fedora core 5 + ccrma, arduino is on /dev/ttyUSB0
ciao, davide.

I just did a major coding session with Jamie Allen on the next version of the Pduino firmware last night. We are adapting to work well with other host computer software like Java or Processing, as well as adding software PWM and hopefully other features. We've renamed it Firmata since its no longer Pd-specific (tho I really liked the name Pduino...). Massimo Banzi said he's going to make it the default firmware that comes on new Arduinos, so soon, you should be able to use Arduinos out-of-box with Pd without having to do anything to the Arduino.
Please send feedback, pages like this are quite useful.

Hey all,
I just started a little wiki guide showing my experience

The page is just starting as a log of what I have been doing in my learning process but It will grow into a proper document
and end up as
part of PDDP.
comments welcome.
