I've had pretty good luck with Shuttles, and the size is nice. I recently bought 10 P-III 700/128MB/10gig Compaq small form factor PCs for $150 each. They are refurbed with 90 day warranty. Surplus is great for this kind of thing:
I don't know of any European surplus dealers, but they have to exist.

Hi all,
I need a small micro-ATX mainboard for an installation project to run pd/linux on. I am thinking of a athlon board with LAN and VGA and onboard sound. Does anybody have experience with the onboard sound of these boards, which sound ok, which work well under linux etc? -- electronic & acoustic musics-- http://www.xs4all.nl/~gml
