Hmmm.... it didn't work for me, but I am suspecting some of my problem is that I am using Beta WDM drivers for my Echo Mia card, which is what I use for the audio (I use the soundblaster only as an extra MIDI port). I know that the audio part of PD will not work with this driver/card combination and it may be interfering with other things too. I may try disabling it and checking it again. I know that audio in 0.32 is not working with the WDM driver, but MIDI is still working. If you have any other ideas I'm listening. Thanks.
Best, Tim

Just like me! I didn't get the error with Pd 0.32 I fixed it using what Miller told me: type: pd -midiindev 1 -midioutdev 1 What I don't know is what is the difference with that commands :-?
See you!

Just so you know you are not alone, I am getting
the same message (except in english!). I thought it was because I am using a host line to my Korg X5D, but removed that and used my soundblaster PCI128 and get the same message. I am getting this under PD 0.33, but not 0.32.

Hi all!
When I start PD under Windows ME I get the
following
error:
midiInOpen: MMSYSTEM002 Se ha usado un
identificador
de dispositivo que está fuera del intervalo para
su
sistema. (That means: It has been used an out of range identificator - more or less)
I have a Sound Blaster 1024 and I don't know
what to
do!
Thank you!
P.S. I hope you have a great vacation, Miller!
