I am using the msgfile to read in and access lines at random and it is a nice object (although I wish it would give me the number of lines in a text file) but AFAIK it cannot be used to DISPLAY text - if I understand the help file correctly
do you know of something that can display text similar to the [textedit] object in Max/MSP? thanks for your help! KIM

I've been looking for an object similar to [textedit] Max/MSP so I can display the text with formatting (i.e. type size, font, color etc)
does anyone happen to know if there is a similar object as [textedit] for pd? or something that would work in its place? thanks in advance!
