I had a similar problem with mine (debian) but you can make a list and that can go as long as you like it (i guess), using just one -lib and one -path
example (replace with your dirs):
-lib /usr/bin/pd/xxx:/home/georgew/china:/home/georgew/kyoto:/home/georgew/pd
same for -path

I guess most of yo noticed that pd crashes on startup if you try to put more than 3 -lib or -path directives in your ~/.pdrc , I didn't yet look into it too much but it's not as trivial to fix as I thought at first, any one more familiar with the issue willing to give it a go ?
