Actually, the old one already did. This one supports the -helppath in addition. Enjoy, adam

Hi all...
Announcing a new release of the Pd (enhanced) for MacOSX. (0.36-0 build 2)
http://homepage.mac.com/atl/pd/installers.html
It includes everything needed to get started (including Tcl/Tk, Pd, pddp, and configuration niceties) in a 3.6 MB download.
The new features in this release include:
- Improved performance (avoiding drop-outs and clicks) using a
modification by Klaus Lebkuecher, communicated to the pd-list by V93r.
- a new -helppath command-line option
- Enabled use of a ~/.pdrc configuration file (include hyphenated
options, one per line)
- Creates a starter ~/.pdrc configuration file as an example and for
enhanced out-of-the-box use.
- Creates and uses directories in /Library/Pd for simpler installation of
Externals and their corresponding Help patches:
If you want to install externals, libraries, or abstractions with this installation, you can place the files ending in .pd_darwin (and the abstractions that end in .pd) into the directory: /Library/Pd/Externals Install their corresponding help patches (ending in .pd) in the directory: /Library/Pd/Help If there are other files that go with these externals (such as source files, READMEs, and sample media), a convenient place for these files is: /Library/Pd/AdditionalDocumentation Pd internals are reachable from the finder at: /Library/Pd/Internals
Similar directories are also created in the Home directory (i.e. ~/ Library/Pd) of the user installing Pd. The .pdrc file that is automatically generated tells Pd to look at these directories.
More details at the above URL. Complaints and comments welcome. I haven't had a chance to test the installer as much as I'd like.
