héhé, you're lucky, the latest version of PiDiP ( 0.12.17 ) includes a pdp_cropper object ( it just align the sizes on a multiple of 8 )
i hope you'll find it handy.
cheers, sevy

Howdy,
I'm trying to capture sections of the pdp_xv window and then add them back in. I've got everything figured out except how to get the actual snapshot. I tried the pidip screen capture, which worked great, except that it reads the xv as being solid blue, which actually is what I was expecting.
I guess pdp_snap would be the best way to go, but I can't figure out what clever set of objects would crop it. I could save the snap as a png, write a shell script to crop it with imagemagick and then load it back in, but that seems silly with all these powerful image manip objects lying around, I just don't know which ones to use.. It needs to have some way of getting XY info so that I can click on the XV and have it do the snapshot automatically.
Thanks for any tips, Ian -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org
