Miller, all,
I believe Miller Puckette said this around Thu, 14 Nov 2002:
I might have fixed it so that there's no way to get a patch stuck under the menu bar!
Also, included the newest Portaudio , tested with the new TCL, cleaned up some problems here and there.
I've been experimenting with Pd 0.36 test 6, and noticed that the MacOSX '-initialdir' workaround for open and save dialog boxes no longer seems to be necessary. Using the linux and NT code gives much better behavior than the workaround, with the current Mac Tcl/Tk.
FYI, I found the workarounds in pd.tk|u_main.tk at lines 165, 247, 1067, and 2643.
Many thanks for test-6. I personally don't think I would characterize the Mac port as being all that experimental anymore.
cheers, adam
