hmm, what does that mean in pratical terms? I'm struggling to get it.

Just thought maybe the workaround discussed in there could be embedded into a new version of Pd/libpd
That should be fixed in the latest version of libpd. Oops: I didn't know about the thread on createdigitalnoise and the previous fix by Thomas Grill so I had re-done it. Oh well. It certainly looks like the same bug to me.
