Did you load the zexy lib in your command line or put it in your .pdrc?

I have tried to install Zexy through apts from CCRMA and am having trouble getting Pd to create these objects. They show up in my docs/reference folder, but when I try to create say [list2symbol] I get:
<################################### list2symbol ... couldn't create ###################################>
this seems to happen with all newly installed externals. Maybe I do not have them installed correctly?
i type: "apt-get install zexy"
and it does it's thing, and says new packages are installed.
