Hey Matt,
Thanks for chiming in on this...
I must admit that most of the above is operating way above my understanding but I'm learning (which I like). Not sure what I could do apart from being an initial conduit and making myself available for some stress-testing, assist with help-file etc. if required. Matt - you do seem to have a decent grasp on the problem as well
Katja - does this interest you at all? You seem to have the skills (slice jockey is the finest looping software in Pd in my opinion) and some interest in these matters. If iPoke~ is of use to our community then I think we should give it a crack. P.A. has very decent coding skills, is supportive of our aims (though has yet to be convinced of its real-world application apart from Pd vanilla) and this would fit nicely with my own passive-aggressive aim to make Hudd music tech more FLOSS/Pd friendly. We also have Alex Harker who has been working on the HISS Tools bundle and is very much a 'fellow-traveller' in these matters, so I'm confident he would pitch-in too.
TBH I'm not sure what would be the best approach here but I'm also willing to do what I can. It's certainly an interesting conundrum.
Cheers,
Julian
