Sure, if you can find a simple situation where it misbehaves, just send it on (to me personally is OK) with the necessary patch(es) attached...
thanks Miller

yep... it worked.
i'm getting some weird redraw issues though, some GOP objects i have that have lots of use of [my_canvas] and other gui widgets apear either invisible or partially drawn, and some object connection lines are stopping prematurely or are invisible. if you want, i can provide a test case and some screenshots.

Wow, that's wierd.
Of course I'll be happy to stick the ".dll" at the end... the funny thing is, that Pd ran fine on the two windows machines I tried, without it. So, Josh, can you tell us if the fix works?
thanks Miller

(i think my message got lost in miller inbox, so i'll post here now...)
anyone been able to get the .38 test's running on windows? i tried with test 1 and 4, both did this:

i'm itching to try it :)
In pd.tk in the first "if" statement block ($pd_nt == 1) there's a line:
load $pd_guidir/bin/pdtcl
change it to:
load $pd_guidir/bin/pdtcl.dll
At least it works for me (0.38test1) :-)
cheers, Bart
