You may also try doing something like [import mrpeach] before you call [mrpeach/udpreceive]. [netsend]/[netreceive] for max can be downloaded here:

it might be called [mrpeach/net/udpreceive] (or something like that, try finding the "udpreceive.pd_darwin" file in the pd-extended package to get the full path)
[netreceive] will work, but you will need a special external for max to send data in the correct format; (you will also need a special external if you choose to use OSC to communicate between max and pd, but i guess nowadays the OSC externals will be found more easily than the FUDI ones)
