Hi Yves
ola,
easy to get the input of two cams and make a composite in pdp, gem or gf ...
but i don't know any code that outputs this as in a v4l [virtual] device ... where do you want to use the output ???
I wanted to use it with CCV http://ccv.nuigroup.com/
we usually get such an putput with video outpit, wires and a mixer .. cos the machine would be overloaded quite fast ..
Ok Thanks a lot. If I find another way or write something I'll let folks know. It seems an external that takes Gem, PDP, etc. output and sends it to vloopback could be quite useful for working with other programs.
Jim
saludos, sevy

Hi,
Does anyone know the easiest way of combining 2 or more camera outputs into one stream? ie. how can I take two cameras using 320 x 240 and generate a wider image 640x240? Is this possible in PD? I would like the resulting stream to be available in v4l ie /dev/video0 + /dev/video1 = /dev/video2 . Any thoughts on this? Thanks, Jim
